Three process management and monitoring tools

HTOP

Introduction:

Htop is a software running in Linux system monitoring and process management. htop provides a list of all processes and uses color to identify the processor, swap, and memory status. You can choose to install and use htop if top does not provide detailed system information. Compared with top, htop provides a more convenient and cursor-controlled interface to kill processes.

Installation:

Yum install htop-y

CPU, memory, and Swap usage are displayed on the top left, and tasks, loads, and boot time are displayed on the right. The following figure shows the process status,

Common interactive commands

Mark a process in space (similar to pressing Ctrl + select in windows)

U cancel all tags,

L display the files called by the Process

U displays specific users,

M sort by memory

P is sorted by CPU,

T is sorted by online duration,

Ctrl + L refresh

Enter a number to find the PID process,

Features: resource information can be displayed to the greatest extent possible,

Installation:

Yum install glances-y

I is sorted by input and output of IO devices.

D. display or hide disk output data

F. display or hide the data of the file system.

N display or hide Network Data

L display or hide logs

Glances-t 10 indicates refresh once every 10 seconds,

 

Dstat

Introduction:

It is an all-around system information statistics tool with a color interface that supports instant refreshing,

Installation:

Yum install dstat-y

Interface

By default, it collects-cpu-,-disk-,-net-,-paging-,-system-data per second.

Common option Parameters

-C: CPU status statistics

-D: disk status statistics

-D. Count the specified disk or summary information.

-L system load statistics, including average values of 1 minute, 5 minutes, and 15 minutes

-M: system physical memory usage

-S: used and remaining swap count

-N: network usage statistics

-R: counts I/O requests, including read/write requests.

-P: Process statistics, including runnable, uninterruptible, and new

-Y: Statistics System Information

-T indicates the statistical time.
