If a Web site has no client access within 20 minutes (IIS defaults to 20 minutes), the server automatically frees up the application pool for IIS, and the timed task is invalidated, and its parameters are adjusted if the application pool in IIS is required to not be released for a long time:

Open the IIS Admin interface, as shown in the following figure:

Click Application Pool, select the application pool to set from the right application pool list, right-click, select Advanced Settings ..., and open the following interface:

Modify the value of the fixed interval (minutes) and the value of idle timeout (minutes) separately (note: The value of idle timeout (minutes) cannot be greater than the value of the fixed time interval (minutes)), and you can set the two parameters separately according to your own needs.
