Recently in the research node, found that is very good technology ~ Considering the usual reading conversion rate is not high. Then try to analyze a book using a Mind mapping method. Feel if after reading can do a mind map, the whole book understanding will improve it ~ The following is the first part of the practice of the mind map, the second part of my reading Nodejs in layman's notes.

PART1 How to do mind mapping when reading:

Simply summed up, to a book to do mind mapping skills are divided into two categories: preparation and application. In the following sections, there are 8 stages. To facilitate the search, the stages are summarized below, with the recommended time limit.

Get ready:

1. Browse--Make a central image (10 minutes)

2. Set time and total target (5 minutes)

3, the knowledge of the topic of the existing Thinking guide drawing down (10 minutes)

4. Define the target and use the Mind Guide drawing (5 minutes)

Application:

5. General statement--plus main mind map backbone

6, preview--first level and second level

7. Inner View--Add the details of mind map

8. Review-Complete Mind mapping preparation

L, browse (10 minutes)

Before you read a book in detail, you should start by looking at it in general. The best way is to look at the cover and back pages, look at the catalogue, then turn the book several times, and hold the "feeling" of the book.

Then take a large piece of paper, or use a Mind map special paper, draw a central map, the book's theme or title summed up. Use this image if there is a particularly eye-catching color image on the cover of the book and the Inside page. If you have a very reasonable grasp of the trunk that will spread out from the central image, you may want to draw the trunk at the same time. They are often in line with the main chapters or chapters of the book, and are consistent with the purpose of your reading.

In the early stages of making a mind map, you are giving your brain a central focus and a basic structure within which it can synthesize all the information that comes from studying this book.

2. Set time and total target (5 minutes)

Depending on your learning objectives, depending on the content of the book and the level of difficulty, and the amount of knowledge you already have, determine the full time you will spend on all tasks in this book, and what is included in each study period.

3, the knowledge of the topic of the existing Thinking guide drawing down (10 minutes)

Now, drop the book and you just draw the map, take a few pieces of paper, as fast as possible to draw a rapid-fire mind map, you are about to study the subject of the knowledge drawn out. This includes any information you get when you look at the book in front of you, plus general knowledge, or any information you get about the subject in your life.

Most people were happy and surprised to find that they had more knowledge of some subjects than they had expected. This exercise can also bring a suitable association or "anchor" to the surface of the brain and let it move in the direction of the topic you are studying, thus showing great use. It also allows you to see your strengths and weaknesses in your field of knowledge, so you know which areas of knowledge need to be further remedied.

4. Define the target and use the Mind Guide drawing (5 minutes)

At this stage, you can add some content to the newly completed knowledge mind map with a different color, or take a new piece of paper, and then do a quick-thinking guide to Rapid fire, which shows you the goal of learning this book. These goals can be specific questions, and you want to get answers to these questions, perhaps more about the knowledge you want to know, or some of the techniques you want to acquire.

The idea of drawing a goal in this way can greatly increase the likelihood that the eye/brain system will register some of the target-related information it encounters. In fact, the goal mind map plays an "appetite" role, and it naturally stimulates your research. A good preparatory mind map will increase your desire for knowledge, as a person who has not eaten for a few days will be thinking about eating all day long.

Application (depending on the material of the study determines the length of time)

5-8 overview, preview, internal view and review

Once you're ready, you can start reading on four levels-general, preview, internal, and review-so reading at the level will take you deeper into the book. Details of these stages are shown in chapter 21st, Collective Mind Mapping family learning.

At this point, you can: while reading and doing a mind map, while reading the book to make some marks, and after the completion of the mind map. These methods are equally effective-the choice you make is based on your personal preferences, or perhaps depending on whether the book belongs to you personally.

While reading and doing a mind map is like a continuous "dialogue" with the author of the book, it will reflect the unfolding patterns of knowledge as the book progresses forward. The expanding mind map also allows you to notice the level of comprehension and adjust your attention accordingly.

The post-mortem mind map has the advantage that you only start with understanding the content of the book, and the relationship between the content and each other. Your mind map is therefore more comprehensive, has a core, and is unlikely to need to be modified.

Whichever method you choose, you must remember that doing a mind map of a book is a two-way process. The goal is not simply to copy the idea of the author in the form of mind maps. It is to organize and synthesize his or her thoughts according to your own knowledge, understanding, interpretations and specific goals. Your mind map should ideally include your own comments, ideas, and creative understanding from what you have just read. Using different colors or codes will make your own contribution to the graph separate from the author's ideas.
