In XP, how does one share a printer with multiple computers?

Set a shared printer

1: Set up a shared printer first, and click "Start -- printer and fax -- add printer" in the system, as shown in the following figure.

 

2: Click "printer connected to this computer" in the window to open the search driver.

 

3: click add printer port and driver, as shown in the following figure.

 

4: Select the printer driver and set the sharing name. Note: This sharing name is required when configuring the client.

 

Set the client

1: Now that we have a printer computer with shared settings, let's try to connect to the printer print file configuration, also on the computer "start -- printer and fax -- add printer", click it to enter.

2: Click "network printer" as shown in the figure.

3: then we run in "start"-", and click" IP print sharing name "in the pop-up window to open it directly.

4: After entering, we can set the default printer. After setting the printer, we can print the file again to see if it is okay.
