By inserting word 2010 's own or custom building blocks in a Word 2010 document, users can quickly enter content such as text, pictures, or tables in a fixed format to increase productivity. The steps to insert a building block in a word 2010 document are as follows:
In step 1th, open the Word 2010 document window and switch to the Insert Ribbon. The various groupings that insert the Ribbon contain several building block libraries (such as cover pages, header libraries, text box libraries, document part libraries, formula libraries, and so on), and there are more or less building blocks stored in each building block library. Position the insertion point cursor to the target location, in this example, click the Header button in the Header and footer group, as shown in Figure 2009122701.

Step 2nd, in the Open header list, right-click the building block that you want to insert (for example, insert a custom build block word home Logo). Then, on the Open shortcut menu, select Insert at current document, the building block will be inserted at the insertion point cursor position, as shown in Figure 2009122702.
