In this way, you do not need to first extract the downloaded ISO installation image files or write to the USB flash drive or hard disk. If the USB drive is already the latest version of the old Peaches WinPE boot menu (the webmaster often uses it to directly restore Gho to install Windows), it's not necessary to destroy it, this is great.
To achieve this premise is because the old Peaches boot menu support directly read all the ISO files in the U disk/isos, in fact, we can also use grub or easyboot implementation, but manual operation or a bit of trouble, there are old peaches to save a lot of things ha.

1. Use the old Peaches start the U disk production tool to make a good WinPE startup disk (if you do not want to use the old Peaches friends can also directly use the UltraISO to write to the USB flash drive to the syslinux boot sector, and then use it to install the Ubuntu installation ISO in the image to the USB flash drive to install, There is no need to look at the following steps, but this way will destroy the original USB stick, for the USB stick already have old peaches or similar other tools have been supported from the USB flash drive ISO file directly start, there is no need to do so!

2. Copy the ISO file to the USB stick/isos directory.

4. Insert the USB stick into the machine that needs to install the system, boot, enter BIOS, set USB boot boot.

5. Choose to search the ISO file from the/isos directory to start, select the Ubuntu install ISO and enter, so you can enter its installation interface properly.

6. Ubuntu installation, the first to choose a good language, and then choose Keyboard, these two steps are OK, but in the third step, Ubuntu will check cdrom, and then it will error "No CD-ROM drive is detected". In order to be able to skip this step and proceed normally, the next steps are critical:

7. Press <ALT>+<F2>, and then <Enter> go to the Console (command line interface).

8. Type Ls-l/dev/sd* to see all the attached device, the general USB flash drive corresponds to the/DEV/SDB1.

9. Create a new directory: Mkdir/iso, and mount the USB drive to this directory: Mount-t vfat/dev/sdb1/iso

10. Mount the USB flash drive/isos/in the Ubuntu installation ISO to the CDROM device corresponding to the file: Ln-sf/iso/ubuntu-10.04.2-server-amd64.iso/dev/cdrom. Although now Ls/dev/cdrom does not see the files in the ISO, it does not affect the Setup program to read the files inside it: D

11. Press <ALT>+<F1> out of the console back to the installation interface, select manually specify the installation disc path, the default is/dev/cdrom, you can continue to install the direct carriage.

12. The rest is the installation process of the traditional Ubuntu server. Get!
