Install FreeBSD interface MATE

1. MATE depends on Xorg. Install Xorg7.7 first.

2. command:
Xorg-configure
To generate the xorg. conf. new file.
Xorg-config xorg. conf. new-retro
Verify the software/hardware matching. If the gray-dark x appears, copy the file to/etc/X11/xorg. conf.

3. Install MATE

4. Configure the following file:

/Etc/rc. conf:

Dbus_enable = "YES"
Hald_enable = "YES"
Avahi_daemon_enable = "YES"
Avahi_dnsconfd_enable = "YES"

~ /. Xinitrc:
---------------------
Exec ck-launch-session prepare-launch mate-session
--------------------- At this time, you can start the MATE interface through startx.

5. If you want to add a user logon management interface, install x11/slim

6. Configure MATE and slim when using slim

/Etc/rc. conf:
