1. MATE depends on Xorg. Install Xorg7.7 first.

To generate the xorg. conf. new file.
Xorg-config xorg. conf. new-retro
Verify the software/hardware matching. If the gray-dark x appears, copy the file to/etc/X11/xorg. conf.
3. Install MATE
4. Configure the following file:
