Install Multiple Tomcat services on the same machine in Windows

1. Software Download

Download from the official website.

 

2. Installation
1) modify the configuration file
Decompress the downloaded apache-tomcat-5.5.27.zip file and copy it to D: \ tomcat-5.5.27-product and D: \ tomcat-5.5.27-test.
Open D: \ tomcat-5.5.27-product \ conf \ Server. xml and modify the port
Search for 8080, change to 8081

 

2) create a service to install and uninstall a batch file
Create installservice. bat under D: \ tomcat-5.5.27-product \. The content is as follows:
D: \ tomcat-5.5.27-product \ bin \ service. Bat install tomcat5product
Create uninstallservice. bat under D: \ tomcat-5.5.27-product \. The content is as follows:
D: \ tomcat-5.5.27-product \ bin \ service. Bat remove tomcat5product

 

Then execute the batch processing file.

 

In addition, enter the command line directly.

D: \ tomcat-5.5.27-product \ bin \ service. Bat installTomcat7

 

The error "atat.exe" is not found.

Switch drive letter:

Enter "D" in the command line and press enter (CD is not required before ).

Switch to the directory:

Enter cd d: \ tomcat-5.5.27-product \ bin in the command line.

Re-install: Service. Bat installTomcat7

To install Tomcat in win7/Win8, run the command line as an administrator. Otherwise, the Tomcat service cannot be started.

After the installation is normal, the service name will change to Apache Tomcat 7.
