I have a Linux dish, only learn and record the memo here
First, the installation is divided into three steps:
1, wget-i-C http://dev.mysql.com/get/mysql57-community-release-el7-10.noarch.rpm
2, yum-y install mysql57-community-release-el7-10.noarch.rpm
3, yum-y install Mysql-community-server
CENTOS7 installed in the default MARIADB, is a branch of MySQL, I am now directly installed MySQL here, will cover the mariadb (forgive me not to delve into the mariadb is what things)
Second, the configuration:
1. Start: Systemctl start Mysqld.service
2. Check the running status: Systemctl status Mysqld.service
At this point, MySQL is running normally (this command can see the word like active (running))
3. Find the default login password:
/ var / Log /mysqld. Log
4. Log in with the default password: mysql-uroot-p, then enter the password you found in the previous step
5. Modify the default password:
ALTER USER ' Root '@'localhost'by'new password' ;
Note that the MySQL keyword (alter, user, and so on) is case insensitive, and be careful not to forget the semicolon behind it. I reset the password anyway is once passed the case that the password strength is not enough.
6. Delete the previously downloaded Yum repositry:yum-y remove Mysql57-community-release-el7-10.noarch (actually this step I do not understand, it is said that if not deleted, every time after the Yum operation will update this thing, the use of resources, then delete it)
At this point, complete.
