Install the ibus Input Method in Linux mint

After Linux mint is installed, there is no input method, which is really depressing.

Install ibus:

Sudo add-Apt-repository PPA: Shawn-p-Huang/PPA
Sudo apt-Get update
Sudo apt-Get install ibus-GTK ibus-pinyin-db-open-phrase

After the installation is complete, you need to perform the following settings.
1. Click menu -- setting -- ibus preferences to open the ibus preferences dialog box and switch to "input method ";
2. In the "select a input method" column, add the installed Chinese-Pinyin input method, and click the Add button;
3. Sometimes you may need to restart or log out. The root user does not seem to need it.
