One installation vsftpd
Before installing VSFTPD, first update the Apt-get downloaded data source to enter the following command:
sudo apt-get update
Then install VSFTPD
sudo apt-get Install VSFTPD
Two additional FTP accounts
New Ubuntu account ftp.
sudo useradd-m ftpsudo passwd ftp
If you have an FTP directory in the/home directory after the VSFTPD service is installed, ignore the Create FTP directory command, or enter the following command to create a new FTP directory and authorize it.
mkdir/home/ftpsudo chmod 777 /HOME/FTP
Three modifications to the VSFTPD configuration file
Modify the Vsftp configuration file with the following command.
sudo vi/etc/vsftpd.conf
