Installing and configuring monitoring memcache using cacti

Recently, we want to use memcache for single-instance and multi-instance performance tests. We checked some monitoring tool information on the Internet to lock the powerful cacti.

The prerequisite for installing this file is that you have obtained the cacti installation package. The machine is installed with the MySQL, Apache, and PHP environment. In other words, your machine can execute the PHP file.

1. decompress the cacti installation package and place it in the Apache application directory (that is, the folder accessible through http: // localhost: 80)

2. There is a cacti. SQL file, which is used to export data to the MySQL database.

(1)/usr/bin/MySQL-u root-P prompts you to enter your Database Password

(2) mysql> Create Database cacti;

> Use cacti:

> Source/var/www/cacti. SQL; (this is my installation path. Replace it with the cacti. SQL path here)

(3) Go to the cacti package directory and enter the incldes/directory VI config. php below

$ Database_default = "cacti"; // name of the database you just created
$ Database_hostname = "localhost ";
$ Database_username = "root"; // data imported under the root user
$ Database_password = "XXX ";
$ Database_port = "3306 ";
$ Database_ssl = false;

(4) visit http: // localhost: 80/cacti to see the installation page.
