# Cd/media/cdrom
4. Copy the feature enhancement package to the/home directory
# CP Vmwaretools-9.9.0-2304977.tar.gz/home
If vmwaretools-9.9.0-2304977.tar.gz appears: No such file or directory. That is, your package name is not correct,
# ls View package name, enter the correct package name
5. Enter into the/home directory
# Cd/home
6. Decompression function Enhancement Package
# tar XZVF vmwaretools-9.9.0-2304977.tar.gz
vmware-tools-distrib/
Vmware-tools-distrib/files
..... Omitting the decompression process
7. Enter the Decompression folder
# CD vmware-toos-distrib/
8. Run the installation script and add the parameter-D, which represents the default installation
#./vmware-install.pl-d
If bash:./vmware-install.pl appears:/usr/bin/perl:bad interpreter:no such file or directory.
Do a bit of installing GCC and Perl. Command:
# yum Install perl gcc kernel-devel
Continue execution #./vmware-install.pl-d
Okay, and I'm not prompted. Open-vm-tools input Command not installed
# yum-y Install Open-vm-tools
Wait for installation to complete
Execute again
# ./vmware-install.pl-d
..................
When you see these ghost words, it means that the installation is complete.
