(ii), how to identify and use interactive elements.
The following are the interactive scenarios, interaction objects, interaction methods, and interactive events discussed separately.

We often divide the interactive scene into three kinds of embedded, PC and server. Embedded mainly refers to the use of small liquid crystal display output equipment, PC mainly refers to a CRT, keyboard, mouse pc. The server is in most cases the same as the PC's interactive device, but the user's professional requirements often have a big gap.

We mainly discuss the PC. The main operating system of PC in China is windows, so the interaction object is discussed with Windows as the benchmark.

Common interactive objects under Windows include:
1. Information Display Object
2. Command Response object
3. Input Selection Object
4. Scope Limit Object
5. Table objects
6. System Object

Information Display objects are: tags, animations, instant prompts, status bar prompts, progress bar.

Instant hints
Status bar Hints
Progress bar
Information display objects are mainly used for software to provide feedback information to users.

Command response objects are: Buttons, menus, split bars, hyperlink text
Name Demo
Button General Flat graphics Press Drop-down single Select multiple selection
Menu
Separator Bar
Hyper-connected text
Command response objects are used primarily for commands that respond to a user's mouse and keyboard.

Input Selection objects are: text input box, fine-tuning input box, selection box, slider, page selection
Name Demo
Text input box single line and multiline text input IP address input
Fine-tuning the input box
Selection box scrolling Select Drop-down selection
Slide Bar
Page selection
Input Selection object is mainly used to receive user input text, selection has been set a good choice.

Scope-qualified objects mainly include: Group and Split Line

Group
Split Line
Scope-qualified objects are used primarily to visually separate one or more interacting objects that are logically different from each other.

The form object looks very much like the table we use.

Used to display and enter large amounts of information.

System objects include: window, tree list, list, System Information Bar

System Information Bar

After familiarity with the interactive elements of Windows, let's look at interaction and interaction events.

Interactive methods are: keyboard input, mouse scrolling, mouse clicks, voice input, handwriting input, image input and so on. One of the most common is the front three.

Interactive events are: visual cues, path selection, voice prompts, and so on. Path selection is when a program may have multiple branches, requiring the user to confirm which branch to enter.

(iii) How to design and use interactive logic

In the preceding we have said three kinds of cases of interaction logic. The natural logic of the user is to be followed first. This is the so-called humanization of the problem. For example, from left to right from top to bottom, red indicates that the alert green is safe, low frequency indicates normal high frequency and so on.

If the user's natural logic is violated, it can be detected through the early user focus group and later user test.

If you take into account the characteristics of our interactive environment-PC machine, Windows operating system, then we should also pay attention to the operation of windows with the habit of matching. For example, in Chinese windows, the button's shortcut key is behind the button text, and the English version is in front.

The first thing to note is the logic of the keyboard. Software interaction under Windows should be aware that the logic of the keyboard is based on Windows specifications, unless it is run with any other application. Please refer to the Windows Keyboard definition in appendix (i).

The second is to pay attention to the logic of the mouse. Now windows under the basic Mouse is a double bond, the middle with a sliding wheel is also a minority. The definition of clicking, right-clicking, and double-clicking is the same as the current setting for Windows, which can cause confusion to users.

The logic between the various interactive elements is difficult to She clearly. This article introduces several principles of interaction design, and then gives some effective methods in interactive design.

Interactive Design principles:
1, the principle of user-centric
2, the principle of mutual consistency
3. Simple and usable principle

User-centric principles do not have to be spoken of: designing interactions, prompting and directing users in a way that users are accustomed to, rather than educating users, and taking user satisfaction as the basic measure.

The principle of interactive consistency consists of the following elements:
Design goals are consistent. If the pursuit of simple operation, then the consistent.
Consistent appearance. If the pursuit of visual effects gorgeous, then try to avoid the simple effect.
Behavior is consistent. The interaction object is consistent with the interaction events that occur after the same interaction method.

The simple and available principles contain the following sections:
Simplifies interface elements. Can be classified on the classification, can hide hidden. Keep the interface control area not more than 40%,
Simplify the concept of logic. A good example is the Popular wizard window under Windows.
This makes the interaction easier to understand and easier to control.

In the larger sense, there is only one way of interaction design, and that is simplification. This is often the biggest difference between software developers and consumers. Program developers tend to be more quick and logical from a development perspective because they understand the software's functionality and architecture in their entirety.
