JavaScript and Ruby in ABAP

NetWeaver has a mini JavaScript engine Cl_java_script, the compilation and execution of JS code is done with system call.

In the SAP C4C UI designer, the event handler can be written in Ruby script, and when the UI is saved, the Ruby script is automatically converted to JavaScript by the C4C background ABAP program. Finally, JavaScript is executed in the browser:
