Add a thread group

(1) Thread group, the setup thread group is equivalent to the initialization script for the "environment" of LR initialization, and the teardown thread group is the equivalent of a script that clears the information after the completion of the LR test.

(2) Name: You can set a name for a thread group.

Note: You can add a comment to a thread group to mark it.

Actions to be performed after a sampler error: How to execute after an error, optionally continue with subsequent, stop execution, and so on.

(3) Number of threads: that is, the number of users, a virtual user to occupy a process or thread, how many users need to concurrency, set how many virtual users here is the number of threads set.

(4) Ramp-up Period (in seconds) preparation time: How long the number of virtual users set will take to start all. If the number of threads is 100 and the preparation time is 10, then 10 seconds will be required to start 100 threads, that is, 10 threads per second.

(5) Number of cycles: the number of times each thread sends a request. If the number of threads is 20 and the number of cycles is 100, then each thread sends 100 requests. The total number of requests is 20*100=2000. If "Forever" is checked, then all threads will continue to send the request, one to choose to stop running the script.

(6) Delay thread creation until needed: delays the creation of threads until needed.

(7) Scheduler: You can set the start time and end time of the thread group startup.

The practice conclusion is that when you configure the scheduler, you need to set the number of cycles to always, to prevent the end of the pressure test due to insufficient cycle times.

Startup time: When the test plan is started, the startup delay overwrites it. When the startup time has elapsed, it is also overwritten by the current time when the script is run manually (but the start Time page display does not change).

End time: When the test Plan ends, the duration will overwrite it.

Duration (seconds): How long the test plan lasts, overwriting the end time.

Startup delay (seconds): How long the test plan is delayed to start, overwriting the startup time.
