Learn by doing, is one of the school motto of MIT. It shows that we should learn theory or experience by doing.
We could learn things by talking, by reading, or even by thinking. By why does MIT propose we should learn by doing?
It reminds of my own experience. These days, I am preparing for the TOEFL test. I am kind of nervous because I haven ' t taken a serious test like this since I graduated from university or even since the High School.
During the period of review, I suddenly realized I forgot a lot of useful experience what to do deal with big problems, How to arrange tasks efficiently, how to is ambitious to finish tasks, how to is practical. There ' s a word that "Action speaks louder Than words". Or "Practice makes perfect". Showing off sth You are got are super easy and also easy to get praised. But stay calm and doing sth practical are hard to keep. Learn by words are one, and words could let people feel power of thinking or logics. But learn by doing was more practical. Sometimes, one accomplished project means more than one meaningfull sentence. Also Technically, doing needs more pay than words. How does that saying say?
"No pain, no gains!"
So Jack, don ' t forget-keep going all the time. You need to is pactical all the time.
Best wishes,
Jack
