As you all know, in order to speed up the operation of the system, Windows provides a virtual memory mechanism, while in Windows7, the default is to turn on this feature, and virtual memory files on the system disk. For example, a 2G memory machine, virtual memory file size is 2G, we can completely remove him, for the system disk left space.
Specific setup process:
The first step, right click on the desktop on my Computer (Computer), select Attributes (properties). You will see the system's Advanced settings (Advanced system setting) in the upper-left corner of this window on the interface.
Step Two: Select the first setting button in the New pop-up window. Enter the performance (performance) setting and select the bottom Change button in the Advanced tab to enter the interface to set up virtual memory.
Step three: First remove the checkmark in the first check box so that we can modify the size and location of the virtual memory ourselves. Select the system partition in the disk list, select No paging file, click the next Set button, select the non system partition, select System managed size below (the system automatically allocates size), and click the Set button. If a dialog box appears in the middle, select OK.
