1, installation yum-y install NSCD

2. configuration file:/etc/nscd.conf

3. cache files: Cache db files under/VAR/DB/NSCD. Statistics information can be viewed through nscd-g

4, Clear cache: Nscd-i passwd/group/hosts; Service NSCD Restart

5, NSCD can cache service passwd group hosts, etc., the corresponding library for/etc/passwd,/etc/hosts and/etc/resolv.conf, each library to save two copies of the cache, one is to find records, a copy is not found. Each cache is saved with a time-to-Live (TTL). Its role is to increase the cache locally, speeding up such as DNS resolution and so on.
