Linux CP command

-A,--archive equivalent to-DPR effect

--backup[=control] If one exists in the target, a backup file is created for each target file

-B effect is the same as--backup but does not accept parameters

-D If the source file is a linked file, how to copy the file attributes instead of the file itself, the CP default is to copy the file itself

-I, when--interactive is overwritten, prompts the user

-L,--link create a hard-link file link file instead of copying the file itself

-P is copied with the file attributes instead of using the default properties

-R Recursive replication

-U overwrite only if the target file is older than the source file
