Function Name: Lseek


Function prototype:


off_t lseek (int fd, off_t offset, int whence)


function function: Move file pointer


Owning header file:

return value:


Success: Returns the number of bytes of the moved file pointer to the beginning of the file that is the offset


Failure: Return-1


Parameter description


FD: Descriptor of the file to locate


Offset: offsets, integers move backward, negative numbers move forward


Whence: Location of the file pointer


Seek_set: Set the position of the file pointer, moving from the beginning of the file to the position of the offset parameter


Seek_cur: Set offset offset to the current file location


Seek_end: Set to end of file, only negative
