Linux kernel (English: Linux kernel), is a computer operating system kernel, written in C and assembly language, in line with the POSIX standard, with the GNU General Public License release. The Linux kernel was originally developed by Finnish hacker Linus Torvalds to try to provide free and free Unix-like systems on its own Intel x86 architecture computer.

Linus Torvalds announced the second release candidate for Linux Kernel 4.7 (RC2) on June 5 (Sunday), while RC1 was released on May 29, and it is expected that Linux Kernel 4.7 will have a stable version in the second or third week of July. Linus Torvalds said that RC2 only brought a lot of common fixes and component improvements, driven updates, schema changes, improved file systems, updated network stacks, and Common Core code with MM fixes.

There are, of course, unresolved issues in RC2, such as the return of the NFS file system, which will be fixed in the next candidate release (RC3).
