Linux Kernel Learning Summary

Summarize

As a student of BJTU, I have been a success in choosing this course for Linux only, without learning the operating system and compiling the principles of the school curriculum and having a tight schedule. Usually listen to seniors said, if you want to develop on Linux later, read and write Linux kernel code or learn some Linux kernel knowledge on the future of their own knowledge of the reserves and career development are very helpful, finish this course, I have deep experience. Although I have not understood, but I know that there are many online blog can learn. Although there have been abandoned, but still in the final submission at the end of the deadline to submit their own answers, regardless of the outcome, I at least worthy of my own before and current efforts. Of course, I have some regrets in this 8-week study. A lot of knowledge does not understand very clearly, some more just shallow understanding, these are I will make up for later.

As a beginner, I think this course is very suitable for beginners. Meng teacher in the course of the process will be complex Linux kernel source to simplify, extract the essence to let us learn, I feel very lucky. I may not have much access to the Linux kernel in this course, but I've learned a lot about how to debug the Linux kernel from this 88-week course. As the saying goes, the fish is not as good as the fishing, I think I learned from the course of the analysis of the Linux kernel method for my future study will be a great help. Debugging the kernel with GDB, from the simple assembly code to the first knowledge of the system stack calls, how to analyze system calls and so on, these methods will accompany me after the Linux learning.
