Maximum number of files opened

The maximum file descriptor (the maximum number of files that can be opened at the same time) that can be opened by the system, up to 65535, can be tuned on demand.

View the maximum number of file descriptors that the system can currently open

Ulimit-n
[Email protected] ~]# Ulimit-n65535
Output

To modify the maximum number of file descriptors

# in the limits.conf file, add the following line "*" to identify the user, * for all users, the user name can be changed. -NE "* soft nofile 65535* hard nofile 65535">>/etc/security/limits.conf
