Under the Linux operating system, we sometimes open the TXT file under Windows, and found that the TXT file that can be displayed normally in Windows is garbled in Chinese.

This occurs because the Chinese compression method of two operating systems is different, in the Windows environment, Chinese compression is generally GBK, and in the Linux environment is UTF8, which causes the normal display under Windows

Workaround: In Linux with iconv command, such as garbled file name is Shujujiegou.txt, then enter the following command in the terminal:

To view the results with the LS command:

    $ ls      shujujiegou.txt  Shujujiegou.txt.utf8  

Found to regenerate a Shujujiegou.txt.utf8 file, opened after the normal display of Chinese.
