Touch commands are not commonly used, typically for changing file timestamps, or for creating an empty file

Command options

-A: Change access time only
-c:--no-create do not create any files
-d:--date= string representing time instead of current time using the specified string
-M: Change only the modified time
-R: Set the time of the specified file or directory to the same time as the reference file or directory
-T: Using the specified time instead of the current time, the time format is: [[CC]YY]MMDDHHMM[.SS]
--help: Display Help information
--version: Display version information
