Linux under JDK Chinese font garbled __linux

Source: Internet
Author: User

Problem Description:

The Chinese in a Java application that is deployed under Linux becomes a "mouth" word, which is garbled

Problem Analysis:

The following implementation methods are used in the code:

New Java.awt.Font ("XXFarEastFont-Arial", Font.plain, 12)

Then the JDK must be "Arial" font ($JAVA _home/jre/lib/fonts directory)

Because JDK does not have the Chinese font by default, it will appear as garbled

Need to be set manually so that Java applications can find the Chinese fonts they want

Solution Method:
Upload the required font files to the $java_home/jre/lib/fonts directory, restart Tomcat (the fonts you need are found under Window System, in window 7, for example: Fonts are saved under the C:\Windows\Fonts path)
