2. Introduction

Mgen hybriddb has the following functions:

The script system in the console allows you to perform complex queries and operations on the file system. (Applicable to professionals)

The user-friendly interface encapsulates the underlying scripts, so that non-professionals do not need to understand the internal scripts for the operations described above. (Applicable to anyone)

 

Can you give me some practical examples?

Example 1:

> Select all files from the new folder on drive C

> Find all files created between 2012-10-27 and 2012-10-30 with a file size greater than 10 MB and with an extension not equal to TMP.

Save these files as "data 1"

 

> Select all root directory folders of drive D.

> Find the folder containing "A" or "B"

Save these folders as "Data 2"

 

> Copy all files in data 1 to all folders in data 2.

 

Example 2:

> Select All Drives

> Find all removable disks

> Find out all the drives with less than 50 MB space and larger than 2 GB Space

> Select all folders in these drives

> Find all folders that do not contain the word "important"

> Select all files in all the folders that meet the requirements

> Find all files with an extension of TMP.

> Delete these files
