Minor problems and solutions for ubuntu hard disk installation

I downloaded the Ubuntu Desktop CD image and put it on the F disk. The F disk's file system is fat32. I decompressed the casper directory, downloaded the boot file from the root directory of the F disk, and decompressed grldr and menu. put the lst file on the drive C and modify the boot. in the INI file, add c: \ grldr = "linux" to restart and start up. The installation interface appears, and the installation is successful all the way, but by the end of the process, the prompt is "continue to use liveCD" or "restart". I chose to restart. The black screen on the machine does not reflect any reaction. I pushed my Ubuntu Desktop CD image to the f drive. The F drive's file system is fat32. Download the boot file, decompress the grldr and menu. lst files, put them on the c drive, modify the boot. ini file, and add c: \ grldr = "linux"

Restart and start. The installation interface is displayed, and the installation is successful all the way.

But at the end, the system prompts "continue to use live CD" or "restart"

I select restart.


The machine has no response to the black screen.

I press the hot boot key to start grub, and the boot will fail. Unable to boot even xp

I had to use a CD to repair mbr again.
