There may be two reasons. Many of the reasons found on the Internet are the second reason, which is also common:
1. Oracle's Integrated Oracle Servlet Engine occupies port 8080, and Tomcat's default port is also 8080,
Tomcat port can be easily modified, but the test shows that Tomcat seems to have poor performance and speed on other ports.
Slow (very strange, for some reason, I have tested the speed of displaying images, but the difference is very long), so you can modify the default port of the Oracle servlet engine, change to (ensure that % oraclehome % bin is in the path environment variable)
(1) cd % oraclehome % JIS/install
(2) sess_sh-user SYS-Password change_on_install-role sysdba-s JDBC: oracle: oci8: @ data
(Use the sess_sh command to log on to the specified database service as sysdba)
(3) $ @ serverendp. ssh admin 8888 9999-register
$ Exit
You can modify the original 8080 to 8888,9090 to 9999.
Another way is to avoid running ose without installing JVM when creating a database.
2. If the XDB service is installed when oracle is installed, the Service will also occupy port 8080. The solution is to delete it as follows:
To change the port, follow these steps:
(1) log on to the specified database service using the sysdba role in SQL * Plus work sheet as the Sys user (the default password is change_on_install) (you can change the database connection menu in SQL * Plus sheet)
(2) connect mailto: change_on_install @ (Service name) % 20as sysdba; -- skip this sentence if the first step has been connected.
Connected.
-- Change HTTP/WebDAV port from 8080 to 8081
Call dbms_xdb.cfg_update (updatexml (dbms_xdb.cfg_get (),
& Apos;/xdbconfig/sysconfig/protocolconfig/httpconfig/HTTP-Port/text () & apos;, 8081 ))
/
Call completed.
-- Change FTP port from 2100 to 2111
Call dbms_xdb.cfg_update (updatexml (dbms_xdb.cfg_get (),
& Apos;/xdbconfig/sysconfig/protocolconfig/ftpconfig/ftp-Port/text () & apos;, 2111 ))
/
Call completed.
Commit;
Commit complete.
Exec dbms_xdb.mongo_refresh;
PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
-- Check whether the modification is successful
Select dbms_xdb.get _get from dual;
In addition, you can select the XML database option in the Oracle Enterprise Manager Console.
Modify the port conveniently.
To delete the XDB service, delete it from the admin/Sid (Service name)/pfile/init. ora file in the Oracle installation directory.
"Dispatcher =" One Line.
The corresponding database service can be restarted to take effect.
