Guide:
When MyEclipse Database Explorer establishes an Oracle DB connection, the following error will be reported regardless of which Oracle JDBC driver package (Classes12.jar,ojdbc14.jar) is used.
Java.sql.sqlexception:ora-00604:error occurred at recursive SQL Level 1
Ora-12705:invalid or unknown NLS parameter value specified
Many of the online lookups are based on Oracle versions, or on Oracle-driven versions, but these are not, and are estimated to come from the same author.-_-!
Below, I give you a workable solution (also from the network, I tried, can solve this problem):
1. Modify the regional and Language options in the Windows XP Control Panel to customize the standards and formats in Regional options to English (United States);
2. In MyEclipse, Help menu >about myeclipse...> Click "Configuration Details" to set two values:
Osgi.nl=en_us
user.language=en
This enables the successful establishment of Oracle connections in MyEclipse Database Explorer.
Note: I did not do additional testing, this solution from the network, and I happen to be using Windows XP, so for other environmental conditions are applicable, only through the test of their own, hehe ~
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just now I tried again, the main reason for this problem is myeclipse at startup, the language encoding is loaded in the [MyEclipse path]/eclipse/eclipse.ini file, The country code is obtained from the locale of the system. If the MyEclipse default startup parameter is "-duser.language=en" and the operating system is set to Chinese (Chinese) myeclipse the information after the load is "EN_CN", this problem will occur. So as long as the two sides of the set to change the same, you can solve the above problems. The above solution is unified for en_US.
You can also set the system's locale as "Chinese", modify the Eclipse.ini file, change "-duser.language=en" to "-duser.language=zh", In this way, after the MyEclipse loaded configuration details information is unified as ZH_CN, that is, "OSGI.NL=ZH_CN". And then I did the test, and I can fix this.
