Encountered:ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user ' root ' @ ' localhost ' (using Password:no)

I found a lot of articles on the internet and didn't solve my problem.

1. The first thing to confirm is that the MySQL command line SQL command keyword is not differentiated in uppercase and lowercase; in MySQL 5.1.51 version number;

2. Start the normal mysqld stop off;

3. Start mysqld in a way that bypasses the root password check.

4. Query the user table, found that the user table is empty, insert a root user, close mysqld, normal start mysqld, with the root user, the new password Newpass will be able to log into the MySQL shell

Here's how to resolve the pass:

1. Start the normal mysqld stop off

[[Email protected] ~]# service mysqld stop

2. Start MySQL server in a way that bypasses the root password check and let it execute in the background.

3. mysql enter, into the MySQL shell, according to the previous method, update the user table root users password, the results found 0 rows affected, and then select the user table is empty;

6 re-update the root user's password, can also return to success;

7.stop just now the MySQL service starts MySQL server again in a normal way. Mysql-u root-p Password is newpass
