MySQL Remote link under Linux

Source: Internet
Author: User

My system is Ubuntu, the default does not support MySQL remote link. The next steps change this.

1, first cancel MySQL native bindings

Edit/ETC/MYSQL/MY.CNF

Comment "bind-address = 127.0.0.1"

Sudo/etc/init.d/mysql Restart restart can be accessed remotely, or sudo service MySQL restart

2, you'd better add a user and restrict permissions to this user. For example, only allow him to access a library, a table.

Grant all on the library name. * To [email protected] "%" identified by "password_test";
