MySql5.5 installation (Windows)

(1) Double click install Package installation, click Next

　　

(2) Select, click Next

　　

(3) There are three kinds of installation methods, we choose Custom installation

　　

(4) The figure shows the location of the installation, if you do not want to install to the C drive, you can click the following button to change the installation location

　　

(5) After changing the installation location to the path you want to install, click OK

　　

(6) Please note that the installation path cannot have Chinese, OK after click Next

　　

(7) Click Install

　　

(8) Click Install to pop up a new window and click Next

　　

(9) Click Next

　　

(10) Click Finish

　　

(11) Click Next

　　

(12) Detailed configuration and standard configuration, we select the detailed configuration, click Next

　　

(13) Three types (development machine, server, dedicated server), we select the development machine, then click Next

　　

(14) Three types (multi-functional database, transactional database, non-transactional database), we select the Multi-function database, click Next

　　

(15) Click Next

　　

(16) Number of connections configuration, select options, then click Next

　　

(17) Select the option in the figure (indicating that the user can access the port on the LAN), then click Next

　　

(18) Character Set selection, we select the custom encoding set, in the dropdown check the UTF8

　　

(19) The service name is displayed, two tick options indicate that the MySQL service is turned on automatically, add the installation path to the environment variable path

　　

(20) Enter the password of the root user in the input box, tick indicate allow the remote computer to log on to the root user, according to their actual situation to decide whether to tick or not, click Next

　　

(21) Click Execute and wait for completion
