1. Storage Engine Concepts

Let's say: A movie has mp4,wmv,avi,flv ... and other formats. The same movie has different storage formats on the hard disk, and the amount of space and clarity varies.

So how does the data in our table be stored on the hard disk?

There are many different ways to store it.

For the user, the same table of data, no matter what engine to store, the user sees the same data,

But there is a difference between the servers.

The database has different ways of storing and managing the same data, in MySQL, called the storage engine.
