Parameters
DeviceName
Assign a name to connect to the resource, or specify the device to disconnect. There are two types of device names: disk drives (that is, D: to Z:) and printers (that is, LPT1: to LPT3:). Type an asterisk (*) to assign the next available device name in place of the specified device name.
\\ComputerName\ShareName
Specifies the name of the server and shared resource. If ComputerName contains spaces, enclose the entire computer name in quotation marks, starting with \ \ to the end of the computer name (such as "\\Computer name\share name"). The computer name can be between 1 and 15 characters. If \sharename is omitted, an attempt is made to connect to the ipc$ share.
