NFS network file sharing service

NFS-Network File System. Its main function is to allow different host systems to share files or directories with each other over the network.

Application scenarios of NFS in Enterprises

In enterprise cluster architecture scenarios, the NFS Network File System is generally used to store shared video, images, attachments, and other static resource files (generally, all files uploaded by website users are stored in NFS sharing, for example: pictures, attachments, and portraits of BBS products. Note that the BBS program on the website should not be stored in NFS sharing. NFS is one of the most common data storage services in the current Internet system architecture, especially for small and medium-sized websites. In addition to NFS, large companies or portals may also use distributed file systems such as MFS, GFS, FASTFS, and TFS.

RPC-A Remote Procedure Call Service. The main function is to record the port number corresponding to each NFS function, in addition, when the NFS client requests, it passes the information corresponding to the port and function to the NFS client requesting data, so that the client can connect to the correct NFS port, achieve the purpose of interactive data transmission.
I. How NFS works
1. First enable the RPC service (C5: portmap, C6: rpcbind)
2. register the started port with the RPC service
3. The client requests the NFS service
4. Return the port to the client
5. Request data transmission with the address port
