Obviously the bottleneck is in MongoDB, and it doesn't matter what language you use.

Are you counting all the collection count or alone?

Actually, I suggest you. If count is too long, you should have a separate field in the insert when you go to +1,count to see that field.

As for the programming language you mentioned, as Ls says, it doesn't matter how much the bottleneck is in db
