Notes on Linux Ubuntu network problems

Today, I am playing with the new machine in the lab. Because the school started to use the Intranet to allocate IP addresses, all network configurations need to be changed.

 

After a long time, my server was still unable to access the network, and it was very depressing. After careful analysis, hosts in the same network segment can be pinged, and hosts in other networks cannot be pinged, which may be a routing problem.

 

Then I checked a lot of Route configurations and found that the default route is missing. Then I added the following statement:

Route add default GW 192.168.1.1

Solve the problem.
