Nrpe:unable to read output

In addition to Baidu common three kinds of situations:

1.nagios directory Permissions

2. Monitoring script location path and permissions

3. Script path for nrpe.cfg

There is also a lack of dependent installation packages, which can be tested by the absolute path + parameters of the script .

For example, I encountered a situation where:

/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe-h localhost-c Check_disks

Show nrpe:unable to read output

With /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_disks

Shows a package missing glibc ,yum installs the package and can test it through

Ok-disk all partitions has enough space.
