Colleagues have raised questions when installing the Oracle database.
Current operating system: Win7 64-bit
Oracle version: 10G2R 64-bit 10204_vista_w2k8_x64_production_database.iso
Client Connection tool: Navicat Premium (although not sure why, but was told that the tool can only connect to the ORACLE64 bit, so in order to be able to connect to the database, we also need to install a client 10204_vista_w2k8_x64_production _client.iso) (Pl*sql is the same, but I feel so complicated, so choose a simple tool.)
It's good to change the oci.dll here to the Oci.dll under the client.
Finally, with Oracle, we also need to create the database we need to use for our applications.
The steps are: Create a new tablespace, create a new user, specify a tablespace for the user, grant the user authorization
/* divided into four steps *//* 1th step: Create a temporary tablespace */create temporary tablespace user_temp tempfile ' D:\oracle\oradata\Oracle9i\user_ TEMP.DBF ' size 50m autoextend on next 50m maxsize 20480m extent management local; /* 2nd step: Create data table space */create tablespace user_data logging datafile ' D:\oracle\oradata\Oracle9i\user_ DATA.DBF ' size 50m autoextend on next 50m maxsize 20480m extent management local; /* 3rd step: Create user and specify Tablespace */create user username identified by password default tablespace user_data Temporary Tablespace user_temp; /* 4th step: Grant the user permission */grant connect,resource,dba to username;
Modify the specified tablespace to the user alter user Bkcyun default tablespace bkcyundata quota unlimited on bkcyundata;
Oracle creates table spaces
