This document records the commands used to start and close Oracle 10 Gb database and related files.
The three steps for Oracle Database 10g startup are as follows: 1. Create and start the instance, 2. Load the database, and 3. Open the database.
These steps are implemented using startup, as shown in:
Startup Command Format
Startup [nomount | mount | open | force] [restrict] [pfile = filename];
Method 1 -- startup nomount; alter database mount; alter database open
Method 2 -- startup mount; alter database open
Method 3 -- startup or startup open
After entering a certain mode, you can use alter database to upgrade to a higher mode. However, it cannot be downgraded to the previous mode.
It is true that you are in step 2. You can use alter database to step 3, but you cannot go to step 1.
Startup force
Force start, which can be used in various modes. If it cannot be started normally, try this.
Startup restrict
In restrict mode, the database is placed in open mode. At this time, only users with the restricted session permission can access the database.
Maintenance action. After maintenance, disable the restricted session permission for normal user connection. As follows:
