Permanently modify host name under Linux

The Red Hat series Linux distribution hostname is stored in the/etc/sysconfig/network,ubuntu Linux hostname location is/etc/hostname, so you can permanently modify the computer name as long as you modify the host name to store the file

For CentOS, for example, you can use the hostname command to view the current host name and open the network file via Vim/etc/sysconfig/network
