Photoshop about Layer Comps

This is my thinking and understanding of some basic knowledge of Photoshop, the wrong place, and I hope you will correct me.

Layer comps, which are used primarily to record the visibility, location, and appearance of layers. Visibility refers to the layer's display and hide, where the layer is positioned in the image, which refers to the layer's layer style, opacity, and blending mode. Layer comps can only record these three items, except that none of the others are recorded. For example, draw with a brush, adjust the color, change the layer hierarchy, and so on. In the operation, should try not to delete the layer, do not need to show the layer, you can hide it, delete the layer of the missing, and layer composite can record the display of the layer or not, and retain the layer, you can make our image hold the largest editable.

Show Layer comp, which is the point where the red arrow is pointed, just as the display layer is the small eye icon before clicking on the layer. Of course, layer comps can only display one at a time and cannot display more than one, which is different from how many layers are displayed. Layer comps can also be edited as long as the layer comps are selected. The selected method is to click the layer compound name, and if you double-click the layer compound name, you can rename the layer comp. When you select a layer comp, you can update the layer comp to the current display state by pressing the button indicated by the green arrow below. The following figure, left, is to update "Green blue Red" to the current display status of "blue Red Green", the equivalent is to copy "Blue Red and green" to "green and blue Red", after the update of the two layer composite display effect is the same, although this does not make any sense: the practice is very meaningful: in the Final Document state, Select a layer comp to update. Here you can find another place different from the layer, the layer must be selected and displayed in the state to be able to edit, and the layer comp only need to select, do not need it to display can update it.

Because layer comps can only record visibility, location, and appearance, it has some limitations and cannot store all the information in the image. But the advantage is that it can be saved with the file, and it still exists the next time the file is opened. This, of course, increases the number of KB bytes in the file. and the ability to save all the image information is the snapshot function in the history record. But it also has a disadvantage that it cannot be saved with the file. For example, in the current operation, there are some snapshots stored, and then save the file. When you open the file again, the last saved snapshot is no longer present.

The main role of layer composition is to record the layout of the image, and when the final modification of the image is completed, it can be laminated to a variety of layouts to select the best one. Of course, this layer composite operation should be done after the image has been properly edited. This should be done in addition to the visibility, location and appearance of all operations, it should be before the layer is combined to complete the operation. Because the layer composite can be saved with the file, therefore, its advantage lies in the storage of image layout and typesetting, easy to open the next file can be easily demonstrated to customers, rather than reflected in the operation process.

Snapshots can record all of the image information, but cannot be saved with the file, so its advantages are fully reflected in the operation process.

So I think in the process of image processing, should use more snapshots for the appropriate image information temporary storage, after the final determination of the scheme, and then use layer composite to save several options layout typesetting:
