Introduction and preparation
Welcome to the second part of the tutorial, which I mentioned earlier as a continuation of the previous tutorial. This has some similar effects, but it is reflected from a very different angle. In the second part of the tutorial, we will do a beautiful glow effect with some messy brushes and gloss effects.

We're going to start creating a text reflection in our splash, so you need to download the trial version of Xara3d 6. You can also use Adobe Illustrator to make, but I strongly recommend using Xara.

Step 1: Let's go ahead and add a text reflection to the splash of water

We will now create a reflection of the text. To do this, you need to open XARA3D 6, and then create an identical text with the agenda font. Same size but different perspective (Figure 2 below). Why do we have to do this? Then you need to close your eyes and imagine the reflection. Look at Figure 2 again. If you want the text to flip vertically, you can get the specular reflection of our original text.

Text reflects the color less important than the first part of the color, text is almost invisible, so we can use any form to get it deep and erase part of it. But be sure to remember that the text is pink (as our original text).

If you've already generated this text, click on Figure 3 to save it (export).

Step 2: Create a reflection, adjust
Put the reflected text into our main document, named "Reflection" (reflection), and put it below the main text in the Layers panel (under the shadow of the text). Then click the COMMAND + T key (free transform) to flip vertically, and then use the bend to adjust the text's reflection (Figure 2 below).

OK, now if your text is as bright as mine, use the Dodge Tool (O), set the range to midtones, and darken it a bit (Figure 3 below). It looks good but still a little light. I decided to reduce the degree of saturation (Image > Adjustment > Hue/saturation, and increase the saturation of 22 values).

Step 3: Modify the reflection, add splash Luster
This reflection still requires some modification. So, go to the Layers panel, select the "Reflection" layer, and add a layer mask to it. Now use the Gradient tool (G) to change its color to black (and select the layer mask) to drag the gradient from the bottom of the text to the top (Figure 1 below).

Next, press and hold the command key to select the selection by clicking on the thumbnail of the "reflection" layer. Create a new layer above it, named "Reflection Touch Up" (reflection modification), and change the blending mode of the layer to multiply the bottom. Select Pink (#853b6d) in the palette, and then use the Brush tool (B). Keep the brush soft and start smearing on the inside of the selection (Figure 2 below).

Now make sure you are still using your brush tool (B) and make sure it is set to 0% hardness and 5-10% flow. Select White, go to the Layers panel, create a new layer on top of the splash layer, named "Splatter Shine" (Splash Gloss), and change its blending mode to overlay. Now use the brush to start painting on the splash (Figure 3, 4, 5 below).


Step 4: Add a stain splash brush
The first thing to notice before you do is create a new layer group under the splash Shadow. Then open the downloaded Brush Pack and select a large stain brush (brush below Figure 1). Create a new layer, named "Brush" (brush). Use the #cceeff color and set it on the entire splash. Then go to the filter > Sharpen >USM and set the number to 80-90% (Figure 1 below).

When you are done, go back to the splash selection and press the DELETE key while still selecting the "Brush" layer (see Figure 2 below). Now, press COMMAND + D to cancel the selection, next change the opacity of the "Brush" layer to 30% and set its blending mode to overlay (you should get an effect similar to Figure 3 below).

Step 5: More stain brushes
Basically there are two ways to add a brush, the first one has been shown in the previous step, and the second one is shown in the following figure. You need to go back to the splash constituency and then choose > Reverse. Create a new layer and set its blending mode to overlay. Using the Brush tool (B), select a good splash brush to add outside the splash (see Figure 1 below). The opacity of the layer is set, and the higher the transparency, the heavier the color. Keep adding brushes until you are satisfied. Brushes and the Eraser tool (E) together. Slowly adjust, this step is very troublesome, need patience.

Step 6: Enhance the splash shadow
Now let's go back to the splash shadow. Before we made a little shadow, now on the new surface, we need to strengthen it. See the shadow added in the first part of the tutorial, using the Brush tool (B). Set the color to dark blue (#125361) and use a soft brush to add more shadows. It's good to do the first part of the tutorial, just add a little shadow, without having to make any selections.

Step 7: Create splash Brushes
OK, now find some free space on your background to enlarge the splash range. Create each brush on the new layer. Below I have some guidance on what to do and how to set these brushes and layers:
1: #a5efff, brush opacity 60%, Flow 60%
2: #a5efff, brush opacity 80%, Flow 90%
3: #c4f2ff, same opacity/flow
4: #e1f7ff, same opacity/flow
5: #e1f7ff, same opacity/flow
6: #e1f7ff, layer blending mode: overlay, layer opacity: 73%
7: White (here use regular round, soft brush, strengthen the brightness of this splash center)
8. #d5f4ff, layer Blending mode: overlay (here using regular round, soft brush, create glow in Splash center)
9: #97f2ff, layer Blending mode: overlay (here use regular round, soft brush, create more light around Splash)

When you finish, go to the filter > Sharpen >USM and set the number to 60%. Apply in each brush layer. Note: If there is a lack of information about transparency in some places, this means that it should be set to 100% by default.

Step 8: Add light
Select all the bright layers and merge them. Then drag them to the new layer icon about 7-8 times to create a lot of light (Figure 1 below). Place them in the position of the letters in natural light (but after the text).

Now, change your brush to a regular circle (large diameter). Set to 0%, opacity to 100%, and traffic to 15%. Choose #1c364d dark Blue. Create two new layers on the level Panel, one above the light and one under the light.

Now refer to pictures 3, 4, and start adding darker colors to the background of the light, which will increase the effect of the light and make them clearer (you can also change the blending mode of this layer to strong light to make this effect more pronounced).

Then copy the bright layer Group two times and add more lights. One is applied in Splash, the other is applied after writing.

Step 9: Texture effects
Open the ice crack image. Go to the channel panel and drag the red channel onto the new layer icon. Now you should get an image similar to Figure 2 below. Now select "Red Copy" (Red copy) channel and select the black eyedropper. Then click on the gray point and you should get an effect similar to Figure 3 below.

When you are done, press the command key to click on the "Red copy" channel thumbnail to load the white-textured selection. Now select the RGB channel and switch to the layers panel (Figure 4 below). Select the layer and use COMMAND + C (copy). Then go to our main document and press COMMAND + V (paste)-Figure 5 below.

Step 10: Create textures
Now go to the mixed selection of the texture layer of the graph level plate. Select the color overlay and set the color to #94e3ed (Figure 1 below). Then create a new blank layer and use the command key + E (Figure 2 below) to merge the textures and this blank layer. Now set the blending mode of this layer to overlay. Copy this layer several times, using COMMAND + t to rotate this layer.

Step 11: Control the texture
Now use the Lasso tool (L) and draw a path where you are interested (I chose here, see Figure 1). Click the command key + I to invert the selection, press DELETE to delete the remainder (Figure 2 below). Next Choose 39PX Splash Brush, add a layer mask for the crack layer of the ice, select Black, and remove some textures (Figure 3 below).

Step 12: Stain Texture
After the completion, go to the filter > Sharpen >USM sharpening, improve a little radius. Repeat the whole process and create some of these effects. The best solution is to put them on a glowing point.

Step 13: Colored Spheres
Now create a new layer group and create a new layer inside it, named Orange Ball. Use color #ffc000. Select the Ellipse tool (U) (Make sure you select the shape layer) and create a circle. All the required settings you can see in Figure 2 and 3 below.

Next, you need to create a new shape layer (on the new layer) and set the color to white. Then, create a new layer mask there, smear it in black on the mask, and erase the middle and bottom sections (Figure 7 below). Now it looks more shiny, moves it to our sphere and matches it.

Step 14: Continue to create the ball
Each ball has to choose a color. Each process looks the same, but the color changes. Do a lot of small balls with the right color, they must fit your image. Try to find a good harmony tone between too bright and too dark.

Step 15: Modify the ball Shadow
I don't want to dwell on how each ball is set. I'm going to show you how it works, so you can pick a few colors. In any case, create a sphere of different sizes and colors. Now look at the top two balls on the bottom--green and red. I like to see the real effect, so I always try to add some material. I mean, we're going to add some shadows to these balls (you're not going to have to do that now, but I think it will provide a good overall effect).

Click on the red Ball's layer thumbnail to create the selection. Click on the COMMAND + SHIFT key + C (merge copy) and paste (Command + V) this ball. Now select the copy, drag it below the original red ball, click Command + T (free transform), and select Flip Vertically. Using the Soft Set eraser tool (E), erase the bottom of the flip ball (Figure 3 below) to create the reflection.

Now, refer to Figure 4 below, select the Brush tool (B) and use the #1a525f color. With very soft brushes (my soft brushes always use 0% hardness and 10-20% flow). Set the diameter to 2-3px, under the original Red ball layer, the reflection of the red ball to create a new
Layer. Then, in the original ball under the precise smear, along its bottom line to create a clear little shadow.

Step 16: The shadow of the suspension ball
Now, let's focus on the shadow of the green ball. In my opinion it is more like floating in the air, so I decided to create a shadow illusion so that the ball really looks like flying. Look at figure 1 below. I drew some arrows to show you where to add shadows. Since we are in three-dimensional space and have a certain angle, we need to make some depth to the shadow. Use the same brush tool (B) as before, but make the diameter larger to create a soft shadow. Try to draw a soft oval that is dark in the middle.

Step 17: Rotate the line
Using the line tool (U), draw three parallel lines (Figure 1 below). Then, apply some layer styles (Figure 2 below) to make each piece of color different. Then use the command key + T to choose to bend. Bend as many of this shape layer as possible and try to achieve a good, thin, curved line.

Step 18: Select the appropriate section
These shape layers are very irregular after they are bent. Therefore, we only choose the part that we think is perfect and beautiful.
Note: Using a layer mask on a shape layer is a good choice, you can simply control it and recreate the layers you want.

Step 19: Establish a straight line
It's hard to create a stroke path using only the pen tool, so I use small blocks to build lines (they're still shape layers). You've prepared some shape layers (curved lines), use them, copy and rotate them to create a spinning line around the orange ball. You just need the right set of lines and they can do it.

Note: Please remember to make each line very well connected. Use a layer mask to mix.

When you're done, select all of the shape layers to merge them (Command + E) (but you should always save a copy of some extra shape layers without having to re-create them). Next, you should probably get an image similar to Figure 3 below, and you need to decide which line to erase the ball, because it doesn't look good now.

Refer to Figure 4 below. Add a layer mask to our merge layer, create a selection of the orange ball, use the Brush tool (B), select Black, Erase

Step 20: Increase the rotation line
Before we do the next step, you need to change your brush settings. Go to the Brush panel and apply the following settings. Select the opacity of the brush to 15%, flow 50% or so. Choose a bright blue (#baf3ff).

Create a new layer, change its blending mode to overlay, and start smearing on the line. This will make the line thicker, with this brush we should be very easy to do. You need to set up a lot of small stains to make the lines more obvious, but also to cover some imperfect places.

Step 21: Create a Glow
This is my favorite part. I think the abstract lights this picture is very good (nnd download needs to charge!) )。 Open it in Photoshop and use the Lasso tool (L) to select a portion of the light. Drag it into our main document.

Use the command key + SHIFT key + U to reduce its saturation. Then use the Eraser tool (E), set to soft, erase the edges of the light. Then click Command + T (free transform) to make it match our line. Select Bend (COMMAND + t gets the option bar) and adjust it to the shape of the line. If it's not appropriate, use a soft eraser.

Step 22: Continue to create the glow
Choose a very light blue (#8cfbff). Reset your brush settings, set to 0% hardness and 5% flow. Then create a new layer on the previous layer (above the revolved line). Set the blending mode of this layer to strong light and add some glow to light the part of the ball and the lines. Don't overdo it, we just need to see a little light.

Step 23: Rotate the line, the glow process repeats
As the title says, this is repeated again and again in the same way. Apply these effects to each of the small balls you create. And remember, everything needs to follow the tutorial settings. If your image is a pink or orange background, you can't create a blue glow effect, and here it needs to be blue. And most importantly: the glow effect is best applied to a dark background. Here is a process of blue ball processing.

Step 24: Add Bubbles
OK, after applying these glow effects, you will achieve the same effect as Figure 1 below. Now, let's deal with some details. I found a beautiful picture of bubbles (the same is paid to download-_-). The only rule is that this picture needs to have a black background.

So, drag the image into our main file. Press COMMAND + Shift + U (reduce saturation)--figure 2 below. Change its blending mode to filter color (Figure 3 below). Now, use COMMAND + t to rotate it from different angles to create a messy effect. Use a hard eraser to erase some excess foam. Finally, create a new layer on top of all bubble layers, set its blending mode to overlay, and then select the Brush Tool (B). Use a very soft setting, select #8cfbff, and gently smear on the bubbles. This will make it have a nice glowing effect.

Step 25: Background texture
Now open some messy images (I chose one of the following images). Click on the command key + SHIFT key + U to reduce saturation (Figure 2 below). Next click COMMAND + L (color level) to adjust to get a black and white distinction between the obvious effect. Next go to the filter > Sharpen >USM sharpening to strengthen this texture.

Step 26: Apply Textures
When the texture is ready, drag it to our main file. Sets the blending mode of the layer to filter. Using the Eraser tool (E), set it to 0% hardness, 10% flow, and mix the textures into the background. Repeat this process to fill some of the blank background. It may be difficult to see, but the texture is there. This gives the background some noise and irregularity. I like this ~

Step 27: Paper texture effect
Open the paper texture image. Left-click it to unlock the layer twice. Then use COMMAND + J (copy). After you get the copy, set the blending mode to overlay, filter > Other > High contrast retention, and set the radius to around 40%, with some depth on the dark point. Then drag these two layers into our main document. Using the Eraser tool (E), set it to 0% hardness, flow 10%, and merge it into the background. Use this technique to populate the entire canvas.

Step 28: The final adjustment
The final adjustments are very important because they provide a unique visual effect for your work. To the top of the layers panel, add some adjustment layers (below). Add them individually, changing the opacity of the image and the layer mask.

For example, when I add a color level (Figure 1 below) The shadow below the letter looks too dark, but the adjustment layer works well for the entire image. So, I chose the color-level layer mask and used a soft black brush to erase the black shadows underneath the letters. Continue to add more adjustment layers and, if there are sometimes bad points, use a layer mask and a black brush to erase them.

The gradient mappings for Figure 3 and 4 below are black to gray and black to white (I don't think it's necessary to write it down, but if you need to know).

This 28th step does not have to do is to be able to do the above 27 steps have been very good, at least I can not do this-_-

Conclusion
Finally, you can use high contrast retention and USM sharpening to further enhance this image. This will make the image more quality. But anyway, this is the end, and I'm glad you can get there because it's very difficult. Find fun in your own work. The color of profusion is with you!
