Photoshop Material Series: Plants

1, first set up a new file Ctrl + N, set the size of 200x150, background color is transparent.

2, set the foreground color is green, you can choose Swatches Panel, menu Windows>show swatches, pick a color quickly. Click the K key to select the paint bucket paint bucket tool and fill the workspace with the foreground color.

3, the use of filter filter>texture>grain, the following settings: intensity:60 contrast:80 grain type:clumped

4, now Some like fuzzy leaves, we need to use the filter to make it clear, menu Filter>sharpen>unsharpen Mask, set the following amount:75% radius:5.0 threshold:0. Well, how are you doing, huh? But it looks as if it was drawn and unreal, and we'll make further modifications below.

5, click the Channel panel, click the new channel icon below to create a new channel, a channel named ALPHA1 completed. Then add the Clutter filter filter>noise>add noise, using the following settings: amount:100 Distribution:gaussian monochromatic:checked, I will use this channel as the material channel below.

6, click the layer tag back to the level board, click on the first layer to activate it, and then select the filter filter>render>lighting effcets, change the direction of the light source, select the ALPHA1 channel for the material channel, as shown in the following figure, I set the angle of light irradiation.

Congratulations! You've got the more authentic plant material, and if it looks darker, you can change the angle of the light to make it brighter.
