1, the establishment of a new file, the size of 250x250px, set the background color is white, use the Type tool font, and then select the menu Layer>type>render Layer, named the layer is not etched.
2, hold down CTRL build, click the image Load text area, use the filter filter>artistic>sponge, set as follows:
Brush size:2 definition:25 smoothness:2.
3, select Menu Select>color Range. Use the eyedropper to select the Dark section and set fuzziness to 50. Click OK and you will get the dark area of the font.
4, select Menu Layer>new layer>layer via cut. Name the new layer as etched. Then select Menu Layer>effects>bevel and Emboss and use the following settings: Inner Bevel:Direction:Down depth:20 blur:0, others can be set to the default values.
5, use the same color as the "not etched" layer to fill the background. Use the filter Filter>noise>add noise, set to about 12. For the background layer and the "No tetched" layer all use the noise filter, the background layer can be set less points. Continue in the background layer, using the filter filter>blur>montion Blur. Set Blur to 1 or 2pixels, with an angle of 0.
6, now select the "etched" layer. Use the menu Image>adjust>hue and saturation. Select the Colorize option in the lower-left corner of the dialog box. Move the small triangle on the slider until you get the effect you like.
7. At this point, you will find that the "not etched" layer is slightly brighter. OK we select this layer and then use the menu image>adjust>levels. Move the small triangle on the slider, casually to the right or to the left, you should pay attention to contrast two layers of the font, as long as the color is similar to the line. OK, etch the font finish!
