PKM help 2: sequence of adding, deleting, renaming, and displaying the Knowledge System

1. Steps for adding a category: three steps in total
A) Select relative position: Add a category of the same level, click "existing category" before the new category is displayed, and click the parent category of the new category.
B) Add: click "File Management", "category-Add", or select "add category" or "add subitem" in the context menu of "right-click" selected category highlight position ". category"
C) enter the category name and press Enter.

 
2. rename a category: three steps in total
A) Click the category to rename.
B) Right-click the selected category highlight position and select "RENAME" from the context menu"
C) enter the category name and press Enter.
* The built-in category "last three days", "last month", "Unclassified", and "all" cannot be renamed.

3. Order of classification display: three steps in total
A) drag the category (source category) to change the display sequence: Click Select, and hold down the left mouse button
B) Move to the category (target category for short) to be displayed, the background color of the target category will become "highlighted ".
C. Open the left mouse button.
* Practice several times to master
* Before dragging, make the target category visible (that is, expand first if it is on the second layer)
* Note: whether the source category has a sub-category. If the source category has a sub-category, it can only be moved to any location on the first layer. If the source category does not have a sub-category, it can be moved to any location
* We recommend that you right-click "move up" and "Move Down" in the menu, but only apply to the same layer.

4. Enter remarks and set the background color or font color: three steps in total
A) Click the category for "Enter remarks and Set background color or font color ".
B) Right-click the selected category highlight position and select "attribute" from the context menu"
C) enter the category name, set the background color or font color, and click OK"

5. Hierarchy issues
A multi-layer knowledge classification system can be established. However, we recommend that you do not use too much to facilitate the whole personal knowledge system to be memorized and applied.
