Plugin 'innodb' init function returned error. cocould not start the service MySQL Solution

1. In the control panel, delete mysql first.

2. Delete the mysql directory under drive C: \ Program Files.

3. delete the directory if you have another disk. delete the empty directory. delete the ib_logfile0 and ib_logfile1 files in the C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/MySQL Server 5.1/data directory. By the way, this directory contains an err file named after the host name, which contains the error message, similar to the following section:

4. Go to regedit to set the Registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/Services/Eventlog/Applications/MySQL

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet002/Services/Eventlog/Applications/MySQL

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/Eventlog/Applications/MySQL

If yes, delete all!

5. If mysql content in the task manager is also deleted
