1. Reading files

The file is Read_it.txt and the contents are:


1) read files by character

The output result is


Read () can read a specified number of characters from a file, and the resulting result is returned as a string. Each time read () starts at the last place where it ended.

The output result is


If you do not specify the number of characters, Python returns the entire file as a string.
